Kira’s Story or Why Do We Love Our Dogs?
Why exactly do we like our pets? You’ve probably asked such a question many times. And the justification seemed to be different each time, for the simple reason that almost everyone has their own reasons for loving these little or not-so-little creatures. The story I would like to share with you is certainly not very exclusive. However, on the other hand, if more stories like this come out, the world we live in could be a better place.
Almost all my life (for as long as I can remember) I have had animals in my house. However, when my family and I moved to another city, it was not simple to have something. After we were actually thinking in relation to a doggie, the central question was basically: exactly where will it run every day, where is there no place close to our residence for it? So we got a pet cat. After some time she got kittens, so currently three cats live with us.
On the other hand, I don’t want to talk more about this cat. This particular article is about a different living being, a pet dog named Kira.
This particular dog came to my house 9 months ago as a puppy. He simply entered through the open door and hid under the couch. My brother noticed her frozen nose on his leg and said, “Since when do we now have a pet dog in a residence?” Everyone was surprised to hear such a thing. So he took out the little dog and showed it to everyone.
It didn’t take us that long to decide to allow this little dog to stay in our residence. Since his name is Kira and everyone wants him as a new member of the family. Only one specific question remains unanswered yet: Who was so cruel as to throw this little (probably one month old) puppy on the street? When Kira found us, she could hardly swallow dry food. I can’t imagine where such people are found in the whole world. And checking Kira I can easily say that this month of her existence was not the happiest. Even now it scares people who use it in a very clean shirt and tie.
The first thing Kira accomplished when she met a residence was to acquire the optimal couch zone for sleeping and watching television. In addition, he made a “friendship” with the cats, after about a week they ended up fighting and being well scared of each other. It is a really sharp animal. I don’t really need to teach it, it seems to pick up on the “common conversation” of people’s terminology.
So how can you not love this little dog? He is currently about 10 months old and has learned the timing of each member of the family and is fully prepared to meet each one with jumping, hand licking and other displays of happiness and affection.
The unconditional love. Perhaps this is the answer to the dilemma we posed at the beginning of the post. Simply because no one but them likes us, no matter how we search, what we’re currently using, whether we’re reaching people, or we don’t have a dollar. And all they require of us is to be close and take good care of them. And that’s not much, just play with it a few times, spank them, give some food, walk around a bit.
To be honest, I can’t fathom how it’s possible not to love something that looks at you with such loyal eyes.
