How to Print From a Laptop Or Desktop Without a Printer Cable

First you need to get a router, especially a wireless router. Step 4: Your Internet is now working. You can now connect a printer. Use another Ethernet cable and connect one end to the back of the printer and one end to the back of the router.

Step 5: Your computer network should now detect new devices within your network. That computer software should be installed on all your computers, including your laptop. After that, go to Control Panel and click “Devices and Printers” to add it to your local network.
