Mystery Of Lucifer – Ascension Into Supremacy
The greatest mystery of the universe is the mystery of Lucifer. Lucifer is the highest angel in heaven who wanted to ascend to the level equal to the Most High God. The mystery of mysteries is an angelic being who knew all the knowledge of the universe and understood all the mysteries of existence, and yet chooses to sin against God. The question is how he being a created being could conceive and believe in such an idea. that he could become the creator himself?
The answer to the greatest mystery of all lies in understanding the universal aspect of God. Lucifer knew that all power in the universe resides in the universal aspect of God, which is the universal subconscious of God. The same power that God has is available to all beings. God’s power is available to all his creatures. Therefore, it is the personal aspect of God that Lucifer sought to usurp sovereign rule.
The only way Lucifer seeks to usurp God’s sovereign authority and rule the universe is by using God’s power against God. Lucifer knows that the way to win against a more powerful opponent is to use his power against himself. Therefore Lucifer is trying this towards God using the universal power of God against the Personal Aspect of God.
Lucifer was the firstborn of the angels in heaven. The angels were the sons of God and the princes of the cosmos. Lucifer was more powerful than any other prince except one. He may have been the firstborn of the angels, but he was not the firstborn of God. Greater than Lucifer was the only begotten Son of God. He is also known as the Angel of God. His name is Jesus, the one who is eternal and equal with the Father.
Although the personal aspect of God consists of three personalities that form the trinity, it is Jesus who represents the personal aspect of God above all. He who has seen the Son has seen the Father. The entire Bible is the sum of God’s word revealed as a person. The Bible is the only holy book that is a revelation of the Person of God in Christ Jesus.
Lucifer wanted to become the fourth person of the Godhead. Lucifer believes he can evolve into being God. He believed that since created beings are divine aspects of God, they possess the potential to ascend to the level of the Supreme personality if they can conceive and believe in such a possibility.
But to do so would be to defy God because he did not have permission to do so. Lucifer thought he didn’t need God’s permission to do this anyway, since being like the Most High meant he answered to no one but himself. He felt that the highest authority is not given but must be received. Lucifer has corrupted his wisdom because of his brilliance. He has ascended beyond the level of genius to insanity.
So he decided to rise above his rightful position as custodian of God’s throne to become one who sits on the throne instead. There was an explosion in heaven as the angels wondered whether or not they would recognize Lucifer’s self-proclaimed newfound sovereignty. As a result, Jesus allowed all the armies of heaven to decide among themselves whom they would serve and to whom they would swear allegiance.
With his great powers of persuasion, Lucifer persuaded a third of the angelic powers to aid him in his quest to be sovereign as the Most High. If Lucifer succeeded, it would prove that the rest of them could also be like the Most High.
The rest of the angelic powers remained loyal and faithful to God. Therefore there was a great battle between the sons of God that caused the powers of the heavens to be shaken and the fate of the universe to be suspended as prince clashed against prince and angel fought against angel.
Prince Michael commanded the angelic army that fought against Lucifer and his angels. It seemed that Lucifer would win the fight because he was the strongest. But in the end Michael received power from the Father and was able to defeat Lucifer and cast him and his angels out of heaven.
After being defeated, why does Lucifer still continue to fight against God? Shouldn’t he realize that God is supreme and repent of his mistake? The reason is because he believes that he can still win the war against God one day. He just needs more power. It gains power from the collective consciousness that worships a God other than the true God of Christianity.
Lucifer originally wanted to ascend to equal status with the trinity and be like the Most High God. He acted on the bold assumption that the Creator, having a mind without limitations, would allow a created being to ascend to the level of the Creator if he also had the same mind without limitations. But the trinity opposed his choice. Since the Godhead must be of one mind in order for the universe to exist in stability, Lucifer now seeks to overthrow the trinity. He has changed the doctrine of the trinity as three persons in three states of the same person, so that it can be established as the new trinity. He seeks to drop the personal aspect of God and take on the universal aspect of God to become the new Deity.
Now he is using the time allowed by the heavenly ordeal he was given to build his power. He has staged his master plan to take over the universe throughout the ages of mankind. Time after time, he has almost conquered the world with a kingdom whose king was under his influence. But each time, God opposed his move and prevented it from happening. This is the game that the Devil continues to play against God until the end where there will be another great battle that will take place again in the heavens.
Lucifer will gather his forces for a final assault on the city of heaven and attempt to conquer it. The great heavenly battle at the end would be similar to what took place at the beginning. Only this time Lucifer will apparently win and overthrow the city of Heavenly Jerusalem. It seems that he would have strengthened enough in power to overcome Prince Michael this time.
Lucifer will sit in the temple of God and declare himself as God. He will reign for a certain period of time during his short-lived victory. But all is not lost because eventually Jesus Christ himself will come with the saints of heaven to destroy the evil angelic powers and reclaim the city of Heavenly Jerusalem. Christ’s final victory will be fully manifested as Lucifer and his angels are finally cast into the lake of fire.
All this is prophesied in the Bible. But why does Lucifer still try to carry out his plan even though God predicted it would fail? This is because Lucifer believes he can change fate. He believes he can rewrite the Word because he sees himself as the Word. He believes he can change reality and rearrange the timeline. He believes he can create a new universe where he is God. The whole story is a struggle between good and evil as Lucifer fights against Jesus for supremacy.
The future exists first in imagination, then in will, then in reality. All things are possible, but whether something will happen or not is another story. What you can conceive and believe, you can achieve. Can is not the same as Will. This is why Lucifer uses the Will to manifest the reality he intends by saying “I will ascend above the heights of the clouds” and “I will be like the Most High”. The divine war is a battle of will against will. To prove the sovereignty of will between El Elyon (God Most High) and Lucifer.
Although every major Bible prophecy to date has been fulfilled, thus proving God’s supremacy thus far, Lucifer still believes that he can turn the tables when he has accumulated enough power in the end. How the ending will be has not yet been revealed. We can choose to believe whether God’s word is true and absolute or not.
Jesus is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. In Christ, we are far above all principalities and powers. We are seated with him on his throne. Jesus died to give us what even Lucifer fought for, but could not achieve. Can you believe what a great position and honor this is? He has given us the highest Sonship with God the Father through him. As Christ is, so are we in this world. In Christ, we are like the Most High.
